One of the primary aims of Friends of Sligo Gaol is to gather and record all available information regarding the Gaol and its history.

 

We are interested in any information you may have (no matter how small) particularly in relation to the social history associated with the Gaol.  

 

Do you have details or photographs of prisoners or wardens or other staff that spent time in the Gaol?  Do you have letters that were send to or from the Gaol?

 

We would love to hear from you and help piece together the rich story of Sligo Gaol through the ages.
